Random thoughts…

I am definitively not buying Mercedes-Benz any more. My car is in service now after my last trip to Las Vegas. First I am getting way too often messages from car computer like: …. something…. Visit Workshop! Is that from British English?

I went to service (or maybe workshop?) maybe 10 times with electrical problems, but the last messages were in orange and red color together with very loud beeping (very stressful). On this trip the car was telling me that I have way too much oil (reduce oil level) and it happened approx. 3,000 miles after the last oil exchange. I don’t believe oil level expanded in the engine. Then it stopped braking (electronic brake assist had some issues during the rain), computer was beeping like crazy forcing me to stop. Fortunately I was just going to McDonald’s and was off the highway. Then the car computer told me to start the engine and it all seemed to fix itself. But this is really nerve wracking. This experience really made me anti-Mercedes… no more…

It was actually Christmas present, but I came to my office in Las Vegas during Christmas. I came to our Vegas office last week and I found couple of presents from clients and this one from Google. Really cool. Flash memory, wireless mouse, small USB light, USB port replicator all with Google logo. Really good idea! I should do something like that for some of our incorporation clients.

The highest bid on Ebay was $50,100. No sale! My reserve was $58,000 and that was really the minimum I wanted for the car.

Guess I will keep it. It is such a fun car. I just have to find some place to drive it. Too bad I don’t drive to some work every day. I enjoy much rather working from home. Probably take it to Las Vegas. People there always appreciate materialistic stuff like that:-))) Maybe I put the ad in the paper in Las Vegas instead of EBay.

That’s a trick I am seeing a lot on eBay how to get some more action on car sales. For example my current auction where I am selling my Mercedes. I see I have about 5 people who watch my auction and 4 different people are actually bidding. Lowering reserve price or buy it now price will send everybody email notifying them about my auction. It is neat trick and it doesn’t matter how much you lower it. If you lower $50 it will still do the work.

I have decided to sell my car. That car made when I lived in Las Vegas, going to the office and meetings and impressing people. Now I feel I rather go on bike instead of driving car. I am enjoying working from home instead of office and when I want to go surfing (like today, again) I cannot put the surf on the roof… So decision was made and the car is on EBay. Pretty good deal. The price is currently $50,100. MSRP: $97,510.00

Isn’t it beautiful? 2 cups water, 4 cups flower, water, salt and yeast… that’s it and it tastes as well too.

The waves were really good. Probably not for the pro surfers but they were perfect for me. Not too big, not too hard.

Finally!

Isn’t this what life is about? It is good to be successful in work. Doing great projects and working hard, but it such a good feeling to go surfing during weekdays and beet the weekend crowd!

Both.. the one on Internet and the one we can do here in California. I just started recently so here are some pictures…
