Assuming I will tell you piece of information and it will make you a lot of money. Something where you invest quarter and make dollar. Something what is a sure deal, just requiring little work and very minimum investment in tens of dollars.
What I mean is if I tell you directly what to do, my experience is like this:
1. 50% will hear the info, but will not understand or comprehend. These people will never ask questions, because they don’t know how to ask them.
2. 45% will comprehend, but will be too lazy to do something about it.
3. Probably only 5% will use the piece of information to their advantage.
This is very said, because we all can make our lives better if we just use the right info freely available around us.
I am trying to purchase new PRI line with DIDs (possibility to have multiple phone numbers on a few phone lines). I want to have unlimited (flat fee) long distance and I can’t get straight answer from the sales person from TelePacific if it is possible. Here is how it went:
My question was if we can use flat fee long distance.
Answer:
You can have unlimited long distance on as many lines as you want as long as you configure your phone system to use those lines for out bound only. I understand where you’re going with this idea, just make sure your phone system can handle this programming. Email backup service is free of charge with our service
OK. I think anyone would be able assume that it is really possible from the above answer, right? The contract came in and it didn’t have anything mentioned about long distance. I talk to the sales person on the phone and he assured me it is possible. I asked why it is not in the contract. He said, because they don’t put it in contracts and they never had any problems while working for other clients etc… Well, I wrote it by hand on the contract: Subject to flat fee long distance.
Here is what I got back:
I think we’re talking oranges and apples on our pricing. The $25 unlimited per line is only available on our Flex T1 Line Bundle and with the application you’re setting up long term this would be more expensive vs. than a Trunk Bundle.
OK. But why he said in previous email it is possible? The contract was already in my hands. I didn’t change anything and to be honest I have no idea what is the difference between FLEX or Trunk bundle. Does anyone can shred the light on this? Please email me at info@eastbiz.com
Also I cannot find any sites showing prices for T1 or PRI. Isn’t this total waste of time not to show prices and always have sales people do the pricing?
Introducing guest bedroom. This is a style how one of the better contractors work like:-) I think he asked me if I plan to change the carpet or keep this one.
When you own your business it is really important to listen to your customers. When companies reach certain size they often start to be really bad in the basics of communication.
Here is what I wrote to GoDaddy.com to give them feedback about their account interface and problems I am having.
Question:
I just want to tell you that your password and login system is terrible.
I hate that I cannot use simple password like before and your system is
locking me out of my account for no reason.
This is response I get:
Thank you for contacting Customer Support. Unfortunately company policy prevents Go Daddy customer service representatives from directly providing login information for a Go Daddy customer account. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Please understand that these security measures are in place to protect your vital customer information, payment methods, domain settings, and other confidential information from falling into the wrong hands.Huh?
I have spent last two days trying to login to my GoDaddy.com account to manage my domain names. Each time I got: The account doesn’t exists.
First I tried to reset the password. I actually did it 3 times. The thing what really sucks and I see the same trend on other websites that they require you to have at least 8 characters passwords. Not only that one of the letters must be capital letter. So I couldn’t use just numbers or normal words.
But even if you change the password several times it still want let you login in. Instead of some normal message explaining what happened it simply tells you ACCOUNT DOESN’T EXISTS!
GoDaddy became one of the company I really hate whenever I have to use them. Their luck is that I am too busy to switch hundreds of domain names I have with them. Their site is so cluttered. How many more services they want to put on check out pages? Just to click through and find check out is such a waste of time.
